Nomura Asset Management can look back on decades of operation in Germany as well, where we have been managing individual mutual funds for institutional investors as well as retail funds through an independent investment company since 1988. Under the name "Maintrust", we became known as a specialist in Japanese and Asian equities and fixed income.
As Nomura Asset Management Deutschland, we will be enlarging upon what formerly has been our core profile by additionally offering a range of successful active and "enhanced" international investment strategies from the global Nomura Asset Management Group, tailored for the German-speaking market.

You additionally benefit from our extensive experience dealing with legal and regulatory frameworks affecting insurance companies, retirement plans and pension funds. For we have always focused on working with these and other institutional clients, including corporations, foundations, banks, savings banks, broker alliances and independent investment advisers. It goes without saying that our commitment to service is very strong.

At Nomura Asset Management Deutschland, a staff of just under 40 ensures smooth processes and personalised client service. Several institutional and retail mutual funds are managed out of the Frankfurt office as well. Additionally, we develop innovative investment products that serve to further consolidate our leading market position. These include, for example, enhanced equity index concepts based upon fundamental data and fundconcepts investing in inflation-indexed bonds. We are one of the leading providers in both areas.
